MRI/CT ADDITION – St. MARY’S HOSPITAL, SETON HEALTH SYSTEMS
Friedman Fisher Associates developed the mechanical,
electrical, plumbing and fire protection services for the $2.1 million, 4100
square feet, CT/MRI addition to St. Mary’s hospital located in Troy, NY. The
project included a 1.5 tesla MRI and second CT unit. The project also included
a second floor that was used for administrative office space and a basement
that was used to house the supporting mechanical and electrical equipment as
well as additional medical records storage space. Modifications were required
to the hospital’s infrastructure to allow for the MEP service connections to
serve the new space. Detailed coordination was provided with the CT/MRI vendor
to verify that all MEP services were designed and roughed-in to expedite the
equipment installation.
