WILTON AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER
Friedman Fisher Associates designed the mechanical,
electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for Wilton Ambulatory Surgery
Center. The new 5.3 million, 49,500 square foot stand-alone facility contains
seven operating rooms, pre-op and post-op areas, sterilization facilities, and
upscale waiting area. Participated with
the client and architect from the early stages of the design process to assist
with the coordination of the infrastructure design. The mechanical design
included the HVAC system and steam sterilization boilers. The electrical system
included the building service, normal power distribution, emergency power
distributions system, addressable fire alarm system, nurse call system, telecom
infrastructure system and building security system. Plumbing design included
water service, fire protection and medical gas services.
