WILTON TRAVEL PLAZA

Friedman Fisher developed the design for an unmanned truck travel plaza which would allow for parked trucks to operate the trucks ancillary systems without the trucks engine required to be running. Travel plaza services to the trucks included 208/120-volt power, telephone, cable TV, and internet services. Design included new underground power and communication services, power distribution to the truck pedestals and the control kiosk. Coordinated all utilities with local providers and equipment suppliers.
