STEIFEL LABORATORIES - Construction of New Lab Module 6

Steifel Research Institute, a subsidiary of Steifel Laboratories, the world's largest privately held dermatological company hired Friedman Fisher Associates to design the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for this laboratory module addition.
Early in the design, a decision was made to expand the scope of the project to include a new boiler plant sized to handle the entire existing complex along with modularity for future expansion. A new steam plant was designed, existing steam and hot water systems back fed to older sections of the complex and a completely new clean steam generation capability was added to the site.
The project was designed, bid and administered using a multiple bid, packaged, fast track project delivery system.
Laboratories include analytical and pathogen capabilities used for water testing, product development and quality control.
